Roadtrip and goodbyes
After brunch, there will be a seenic drive along the sea, with the official ending of the EuroTour 2009, taking place in front of one of the more spectaculor
castles situated on a small cosy island.
Saturday we start the day off by doing a scenic drive to Krengerup castle. On route we will pass Brahetrolleborg.
At this castle there is also the location of Hørvævsmuseet (Flax Weaving Museum), where they have the production of linen on mechanical looms from tommerup væveri, and they where famous for the fine linen for table cloths and clothing, it is a running museum, and a bit noisy but far more interesting than would be expected.
The lunch will be our world famous open sandwiches, weather permitting, enjoyed as a picnic.
Sunday morning we leave for the Strøjer Collection. It is a fine private car collection that will be opened especially for us. They have a unique collection of cars that used to belong to the royal danish family, except the Crownprinces Skoda, which is at the Skoda Museum. Strøjer also has South European sports cars, and we might even be guided by the owner Jørgen Strøjer himself.
Sunday afternoon we will be visiting one of the smallest breweries on the island. We will visit Gundestrup dairy and microbrewery which started out as a normal dairy, but now even has a production of high quality beer. After the tour we will get the opportunity to taste the beer and the cheese.
There will also be time to buy some of their products from the small shop they have.
Sunday night will be the big galla dinner, and there will be surprise entertainment. The dress code has to be inspired by one of the fairy tale caracters from any of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales.

Monday, which is a bank holiday in Denmark, will be the last morning on the tour, and we drive to Tåsinge where we will say good bye in front of Valdemar Slot. There will be a life-style fair on the castle grounds this day, and we will have VIP spots for our cars in the middle of the fair.
In the afternoon we will visit Ditlevsdal. It is a bison farm located in the romantic ice age sculpted landscape in the more northern part of Fynen, We will have the lunch here, and (big surprise) there will be bison’s. We will have a tour in western wagons in the fields.
In the evening we will have a welcome dinner, and there will be time to try out the pool area or the play room in the basement...
At Krengerup there will be guided tours at the Skoda museum, this strange car have had a major function in Denmark, because of the odd danish tax rules (buy 1 and pay for 3). Skoda became a very popular car after world war II, and still is in Denmark. This collection is the largest of communistic influenced Skoda's in the world.
We do have to reserve rights to make slight changes in the programme
