How to get to the EuroTour 2009
NORTH
From the ferry at Frederikshavn.
Car: From Frederikshavn, take the E45 south to the E20 east, on exit 51 take the route 43 and then 44 to Faaborg.
Public transport: Take the InterCity Express train (ICL) from Frederikshavn to Odense. Then change to bus 142 or 141 to Faaborg.
EAST
From the airport at Copenhagen.
Car: From Copenhagen, take the E20 south then E20 west towards Odense. At the big intersection on Fynen, take the E9 south and then take exit 11, and continue on route 43 and then 44 to Faaborg.
Public transport: Take the InterCity train (IC) from the airport Terminal 3 to Odense. Then change to bus 141, 142 or take the InterCity train (IC) from the airport Terminal 3 to Nyborg, then change to bus 921 to Faaborg.
WEST
From Esbjerg (Harwich-Esbjerg).
Car: From Esbjerg, take the E20 east, on exit 51 take the route 43 and then 44 to Faaborg.
Public transport: Take the InterCity train (IC) from Esbjerg to Odense. Then change to bus 142 or 141 to Faaborg.
SOUTH
From the Danish/German border.
Car: From the border, continue on E45 north to the E20 east, on exit 51 take the route 43 and then 44 to Faaborg. Or you can take the exit 75 and continue on route 8. This will bring you to a small ferry, that will take you almost all the way to Faaborg.
Tickets should be pre-ordered and there are only departures every 2 hours, but it's an experience. Try their homepage for further info.
Public transport: Take of your top, and hitch a ride.. :o)
